Overall, we had a great and comfortable stay with an excellent location near the beach, and with just a few small improv Positive: Now for the good stuff because there was definitely more good than bad! Besides the floors, the apartment was clean, comfortable, and organized. They provided plenty of towels, which I really appreciated, along with soap and those little shampoo bottles. It was nice having those things already there when we arrived. The location was probably one of the best things about the stay. Being so close to the beach was extremely convenient, especially traveling with a one-year-old. We didn’t have to make a big trip out of going to the beach. The Wi-Fi was also super easy to connect to and worked perfectly during our entire stay. I also really liked the code-entry check-in. We arrived around 8 PM, and after traveling with a one-year-old, the last thing I wanted to do was coordinate meeting someone just to get inside. We were able to enter the code, get into the apartment, bring our things in, and settle down right away. That made checking in very easy and stress-free. Overall, we had a good five-day stay and enjoyed ourselves. There were definitely more positives than negatives. My biggest complaint was really just the floors not being properly mopped before we arrived. Fix that and a few of the smaller things, and I think this would be an even better place to stay, especially because the location near the beach is great. Negative: Overall, we had a really good stay here. I always like to start my reviews with the things I didn’t like or things I think could be improved, and then get into the good stuff. Most of these aren’t necessarily bad things, just things that are important to me personally. My biggest issue was definitely the floors. The apartment itself was pretty clean, but it really seemed like the floors had not been mopped before we arrived. There was a lot of sand and dirt on the floor, and since I was staying with my one-year-old who loves crawling around, this was a big deal for me. I definitely think the floors could have used a really good mopping before check-in. Parking was another thing for me. I personally like having parking right next to or very close to where I’m staying, especially considering how much I’m paying for a vacation rental. Parking is a pretty big deal to me, so having a dedicated spot closer to the apartment would have made things more convenient. We stayed for five days, and there weren’t enough garbage bags provided for the entire stay, so we ended up having to go to the store and buy more. Not a huge problem, but a few extra garbage bags would have been nice. There was also only one TV, and it was in the living room. Since this is a two-bedroom apartment, I would have loved to see a TV in each bedrooms. Traveling with a one-year-old, sometimes you want to put something on for the baby in the bedroom while the adults relax or watch something different in the living room. The AC was another small issue. Maybe I just didn’t completely understand how to operate it, but I couldn’t get the apartment as cool as I wanted, and at times it felt pretty hot. Either a colder AC or some simple instructions on how to use it would have helped. There’s also no pool, which honestly wasn’t a big deal because the beach is so close. However, an outdoor shower or somewhere to rinse off after coming back from the beach would be a great addition.
